Production area

Map of the Trevenezie production area in Veneto
Shaded: the whole territory of the provinces of Verona, Vicenza, Padua, Treviso, Venice, Belluno and Rovigo. It also covers the whole of the provinces of Trento, Pordenone, Udine, Gorizia and Trieste, shaded as far as the map reaches. Explore it on the interactive map

The zone includes the whole territory of the seven provinces of Veneto, the Autonomous Province of Trento and the provinces of Pordenone, Udine, Gorizia and Trieste in Friuli Venezia Giulia. The list of label varieties is the one set for Veneto; the production rules give separate lists for Trento and for each province of Friuli Venezia Giulia. The name is also reserved in the Slovene form "Tri Benečije". The production rules prohibit naming Pinot grigio and Ribolla gialla on the label.
